I — Philosophy
A standing thesis
We invest the way an owner thinks, not the way a fund reports. Decisions are made on a horizon measured in decades, in assets that compound quietly and reward the patient.
The portfolio is concentrated by conviction and diversified by character — productive real estate, operating businesses we understand, and a small number of opportunistic positions that earn their place.
We accept illiquidity as a feature. We avoid leverage we cannot underwrite through a cycle. We prefer one good decision a year to ten plausible ones a quarter.
